Sat, June 2, 2007 - 10:03 PMthese guys are proposing starting curbside recycling for 15$ a month. If interested email him your address! Here's what he responded to me. (I had asked him how much for the whole house). Please forward to anyone you might think is interested.

Rebecca,
We'll see what a typical two weeks load looks like - we may meet you halfway at $20 or so, just depends on how much stuff you guys have. We're trying to encourage participation so what you propose is right on target.
We are plotting now and hopefully we'll be off the ground by mid summer. Best thing you can do to help is spread the word. We are trying to avoid excessive flyering or neutral ground signs etc - sort of runs counter to recycling logic :/
We are trying to work through neighborhood associations, groups of co-workers, etc. and email is turning out to be our best friend.
We did a curbside recycling service for a fee in the early 90's, until the city-wide program got going. We've been doing commercial recycling ever since, but will gladly get back into curbside if there is enough interest.
We will send more formal information but for now, know that we are planning to collect plastic (#1 and #2), glass bottles and jars (all colors), bi-metal cans (aka, tin cans or steel cans), aluminum cans, newspaper, and corrugated cardboard.
I've added you to our email list and will keep you posted.
Please help spread the word and let us know if you have any questions or comments.
Thanks,
David McDonough and Steven O'Connor
