Hi all,
I'm coming down to NOLA in March for a conference - first time ever I actually get to be there on business! In the past I've stayed at the St. Charles Guest House and condos nearby on Prytania, but we'd like to be in the Quarter as my conference is at the Sheraton. Any suggestions for a sweet, smaller moderately-priced hotel or B&B?

Thu, October 11, 2007 - 5:24 PMwe always stay at the Frenchmen Hotel. its not in the quarter, but on the edge. elysian fields is behind it, hookah cafe across the street, envie and kruz are two blocks up as is the french market. jessica is really nice and helpful. we'll be staying there the first weekend of november. the rooms around the pool are my favorites. and the roof/patio is kickass for drinks or a smoke.

I don't know how prices will be in march, but I had a vendor get a room here during the week for like $50 a night!
