I'll be pedallin' my bike from the Treme (Esplanade/Claiborne) to Chalmette Battlefield tomorrow in the early PM. From my place it's about 12 miles round trip, which is probably less than an hour either way. I ride a cruiser, so I won't be in overdrive. I'm happy to accommodate slower cyclists (or help train in the ancient art of urban cycling, if you're new to the game), and stop for coffee and/or beer and/or food along the way. I'm still just checkin' out the city myself, and this city rocks by bicycle!

Anyhow, I'll be doing it either way, but lemme know by noon-ish today (Thursday) if you're interested! Anyone know of some good stops along St. Claude, or near the battlefield?
