Cayne Miceli was a NOLA resident for many years. She had a black cat named Salome that was a street rescue as a kitten and I am unsure of her age now. A wonderful but stressed kitty. Cayne had to evacuate for Katrina without Salome and spent the a few years trying to get her to come back home. Salome was severly stressed out and Cayne had just got a stable home in November and Salome was starting to grow her hair back(lost from nerves).
Cayne died this January, we tried to put Salome in another home but that did not work out because of dogs. I tried to take her but she does not want to be with other cats, won't share their litter or food bowls and if they eat out of hers she won't. She has started to loose her hair again and she needs a new home. She won't take kids or other pets. Thinking she needs to be a queen of a roost...
